Caputova: Turkey's military intervention threatens stability of entire region

Turkey's unilateral military offensive [in northeastern Syria] is seriously threatening the stability and security of the whole region, President Zuzana Caputova has stated on Facebook. The president supports a call from EU-member countries demanding that no more weapons should be sold to Turkey. "Turkey's military offensive is weakening the efforts of international society in the fight against Islamic State, which still poses a threat to European and global security," she wrote.
