Slovak President Zuzana Caputova is of the opinion that post-socialist countries, after 30 years of transformation, now face a huge challenge regarding how well their judiciaries perform, Czech news-only television channel CT24 stated on its web page on Tuesday. "I very much appreciate the fact that things that weren't positive have been improving. I hope and believe," she stated, adding that the Slovak judiciary is undergoing "a cleansing period" at the moment and that she considers a slavish observance of prescribed forms and a lack of courage to be its biggest problems.
