Caputova rejects parts of anti-inflation package for second time

Slovak President Zuzana Caputova rejected to sign the Slovak anti-inflation law for a second time, saying she will turn to the Constitutional Court asking to determine whether legislation concerning not immediate aid could be adopted by parliament in an expedited procedure. Slovakia's anti-inflation package contains a family allowance designed to finance children's leisure time activities, to be introduced from January 2023. Caputova has rejected the law once before, but her objections were overruled by parliament.
