Caputova: Parliamentary vice-chair Glvac should resign

November 6th, 2019

President Zuzana Caputova stated at a briefing on Wednesday that she thinks Parliamentary Vice-chair Martin Glvac (Smer-SD) should step down from his post. "I think that he should resign from the post of parliamentary vice-chair. After all, it's a senior post and position, the second most senior in Parliament," she stated. Most-Hid chair Bela Bugar said on Wednesday that his party will support a motion to convene an extraordinary House session to hold a no-confidence vote in Glvac and that Most-Hid will probably also vote for his ouster.
