Caputova: Pandemic showed vulnerability of Slovak economy

The novel coronavirus epidemic has shown that its one-sidedness makes the Slovak economy vulnerable, President Zuzana Caputova said in her State of the Republic address on Friday. The economic model based on low salaries and attracting foreign direct investment has been exhausted, and Slovakia should use the economic changes in the wake of the epidemic to move away from that approach, she said.
