NATO should boost collective defence, determination and capability to defend its people, said Slovak President Zuzana Caputova in an online speech at the Brussels Forum on Monday. Caputova's speech opened a discussion panel entitled Deterrence and Defence in 2030, organised by the German Marshall Fund. "Our neighbourhood is being threatened, and we've even seen attacks on the soil of our allies," said Caputova, who also stressed that climate change will have even more visible effects on the security sector. "We should have a really strategic approach to innovative technology, space policies and climate," added the Slovak president.
