September 2nd, 2020
Recent months, which have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic, have shown how important the health-care professions are for society, Slovak President Zuzana Caputova said on Wednesday in her speech at a medical secondary school in Bratislava on the occasion of the first day of the 2020/2021 school year. "The time through which we've been living over the past few months has been extraordinary," Caputova said. "It's made us realise, for example, how important the health-care professions, the career you have chosen, are. It's not an easy profession. You'll have to make rapid and serious decisions that will have an immense impact on people's lives and health."
