Land in all national parks in Slovakia should be state-owned, Environment Minister Jan Budaj (OLaNO) has told TASR in an interview, adding that Slovak national parks are still in a hiatus, with no legal subjectivity. In the first step, Budaj will focus on purchases and exchanges of land, which should come within the non-intervention zone with the fifth degree of protection. He wants to do this as soon as possible. He also said he wanted areas with the third and fourth degrees of protection to be bought up gradually.
