Buckova to become govt proxy for Roma communities

According to materials for a government session, Slovakia's new government proxy for the Roma communities as of April 1 will be former director of one of the departments of the Roma proxy office Andrea Buckova, TASR has learned. Buckova worked for the office of the proxy under the leadership of current MEP and OLaNO expert on Roma issues Peter Pollak. From October 2012 to July 2016, she served as director of development projects, monitoring and evaluation. She also worked at the office between 2004 and 2008, when Klara Orgovanova and Anita Botosova served as proxies.
