Brixova to become new head of Gender and Equal Opportunity Dept

Lawyer Zuzana Brixova, who has been active with NGOs Human Rights and Family Police Institute, and ADF International, apart from working for the Slovak Bishops Conference's legal and EU affairs section, will become the new head of the Gender and Equal Opportunity Department at the Labour, Social Affairs and the Family Ministry as of August 1, the ministry announced on Monday. Brixova is due to replace Olga Pietruchova, who resigned following differences of opinion with conservative Labour Minister Milan Krajniak.
