Britain to send military medics to the Czech Republic

November 5th, 2020

Britain will send six military medics to the Czech Republic who are to arrive on Monday, the Embassy of Britain has told journalists, adding that it was up to the Czech Health Ministry to decide on the facilities in which they will work. On Sunday, two military doctors will come from Germany. On Monday, they will start working at the intensive care unit of the Central Military Hospital in Prague, Defence Minister Lubomir Metnar has said on Twitter. Britain has complied with the Czech Republic's request for aid against Covid-19 and it will send military health personnel. At the moment, these will be six "Combat Medical Technicians" who are to arrive on Monday, the Embassy of Britain said.
