Brezno develops further ties with French Meudon in year of Stefanik

Confirmation of good ties between the French town of Meudon, where Slovak politician Milan Rastislav Stefanik lived in the early 20th century, and Brezno (Banska Bystrica region) was the underlying theme of a series of events prepared by the Slovak Government as part of the Year of Milan Rastislav Stefanik, TASR learnt on Friday. Brezno mayor Tomas Abel was part of a Slovak delegation, headed by Culture Minister Lubica Lassakova, that commemorated the legacy of General Stefanik at the observatory in Meudon on Thursday (May 9).
