Bratislava reaches 75 pc Covid vaccination rate for people over 50

As many as 75 percent of Bratislava residents aged 50 and above have now been fully vaccinated against Covid-19, Bratislava mayor Matus Vallo said on Thursday. "This means that the colour of the city in the Covid automaton will be reduced by two levels when compared to the colour it would have been according to incidence [of Covid] and other parameters," Vallo said. He thanked the inhabitants of the Slovak capital for ensuring in this way that life in Bratislava will be affected by strict hygienic and safety measures as little as possible. Meanwhile, he encouraged Bratislava residents who haven't been inoculated yet not to hesitate and to get the jab as soon as possible.
