Bratislava mayor Matus Vallo and several representatives of communities and residents of the capital called for a halt in the spread of hatred in society on Monday, asking those responsible for state security to start addressing the incitement. They claim that hate speech is turning from words into physical attacks. "It hasn't been just innocent entertainment somewhere on the internet for a long time. It's a dangerous weapon and it's taking its toll in the physical space," said Vallo, noting that all algorithms that produce human evil on social networks are beginning to pour out into the physical space of Slovak towns.
