Bratislava First District Court judge Miriam Repakova, who was involved in communications with entrepreneur Marian K., has asked to be suspended from her role, Bratislava Regional Court spokesman Pavol Adamciak told TASR on Monday. "Bratislava First District Court has information that judge Miriam Repakova has asked the Justice Ministry by letter to suspend her role as a judge," Adamciak said. The ministry has confirmed to TASR that it has received the letter from Repakova. SME daily drew attention to Repakova's move on Monday. She is the second judge to step down voluntarily following the publication of alleged communications with Marian K., who is facing charges of ordering the murder of investigative journalist Jan Kuciak.
