Blanar: Matovic's career based on fraud

Prime Minister Igor Matovic's political career is "based on fraud and lies to voters", MP Juraj Blanar, who filed the no-confidence motion in the premier, said at an extraordinary session of parliament. Blanar further said that Matovic had "botched up" the recent EU summit and that Slovakia thus lost millions of euros. Blanar insisted that the government has been violating the stability of the rule of law in several of its steps and submitted laws. According to him, it has done so by the method it brought into the legislative process. He drew attention to several amendments, which underwent a fast-tracked legislative procedure.
