Discrimination against Slovaks continues with Pope Francis's visit to Slovakia, Smer-SD MP Juraj Blanar claimed on Wednesday, adding that his party would not remain silent on this matter and will make use of all available democratic means to protect the rights of the public. "The creeping discrimination against Slovaks continues; this time in connection with Pope Francis's planned visit to Slovakia in September," Blanar said. According to the health minister, only fully vaccinated Slovaks will be able to meet the pope and attend related events. "Everyone else is being treated like a second-class citizen - despite the fact that the unvaccinated are in the majority - and they're gradually losing their rights," said Blanar, remarking that Smer-SD is against dividing Slovaks into those who have and haven't been vaccinated.
