Blanar: Constitution anchor of lawfulness, legal protection

The constitution is the guarantee for legal protection for everyone in Slovakia, Parliamentary Vice-Chairman Juraj Blanar said in a speech marking Constitution Day on Wednesday. "The Slovak Constitution is relatively young in comparison to those of other democratic states. However, a great number of people saw it only as a collection of acts until recently. It was only the incumbent government that forced the entire Slovakia to start paying more attention to the Slovak Constitution and realise that our constitutional rights are in jeopardy and being trampled," added Blanar.
