Biden announces intl human rights lawyer Pressman as nominee for ambassador to Hungary

US President Joe Biden has announced his intent to nominate David Pressman to serve as the next ambassador to Hungary. Pressman is the former US ambassador to the United Nations for Special Political Affairs, a role in which he "led US negotiations on a range of threats to international peace and security, with a particular focus on issues involving Europe, Russia, East Asia and the Pacific, and Africa", the White House said in a statement.
