Benko discusses regional defence issues with Slovak counterpart

Hungarian Defence Minister Tibor Benko met Jaroslav Nad', his Slovak counterpart, in Budapest, to discuss current issues regarding regional defence. Benko told a joint press conference on Wednesday, held after the two-day meeting, that the Slovak and Hungarian governments saw the challenges "in the world and Europe" similarly and intended to cooperate in dealing with them. He said both countries had taken strides forward in military development, and they discussed their joint implementation as well as signing an agreement on joint aerial surveillance.
