Bek feels broad support for Ukraine seeking EU candidate status

Czech Minister for EU Affairs Mikulas Bek feels quite broad support for Ukraine in its effort to gain the EU candidate status, and believes that Czech MPs, too, will try to persuade their counterparts to take the step friendly to Ukraine, he told the lower house foreign committee today. At the meeting, he presented the priorities of Czechia's upcoming presidency of the EU Council.
