Bavaria, Saxony want to send Covid rapid tests to Czech Republic

The German federal states of Bavaria and Saxony, bordering on Czech regions, want to send Covid-19 rapid tests to the Czech Republic, along with vaccine doses, Bavarian Minister-President Markus Soder said at a press conference on Monday. He also reiterated that Germany has offered beds for coronavirus patients from the Czech Republic. Soder's Saxon counterpart Michael Kretschmer has also promised aid. Soder said the Heart of Europe, most severely hit by the coronavirus pandemic, must be helped.
