Basic vaccination mandatory for Hungarian health-care workers

The government decree mandating health-care workers to take two doses of coronavirus vaccine was published in the official gazette Magyar Kozlony on Friday. Agnes Galgoczi, the head immunologist at the National Public Health Centre (NNK), told public media that the decree will come into force on Aug. 15, after which unvaccinated health-care employees will have 15 days to receive the first vaccine.
