Barbora Mackova appointed head of National Health Institute

Health Minister Jan Blatny has appointed Barbora Mackova, who has been working in the Czech National Health Institute for 21 years and leads its centre for epidemiology and microbiology, a new head of the SZU today, the Health Ministry reported today. Mackova succeeded in the selection procedure. After former SZU head Pavel Brezovsky handed his resignation over the priority vaccination against COVID-19 for SZU employees and their relatives in January, Mackova became the SZU interim head.
