Babis: V4 not to propose Sefcovic for EC president

The Visegrad Four (V4) countries will not propose European Commission Vice-President Maros Sefcovic, an unsuccessful candidate for Slovak president, for the new EC head, Czech PM Andrej Babis (ANO) told reporters. The Hospodarske noviny (HN) financial paper reported on Tuesday that the V4 would propose Sefcovic for the post. Babis called the report a speculation.
