Babis says his cabinet eliminated corruption from top politics

Former Czech prime minister Andrej Babis told CTK on Tuesday that his government had eliminated corruption from high-level politics. Babis reacted to the latest Transparency International report on corruption in the world issued today showing that Czechia was ranked 49th out of 180 countries. "During the rule of our government, not a single minister had a corruption problem," Babis said. "We got rid of everything in the highest levels of politics. If corruption in politics is mentioned now, it is in connection with the self-rule authorities. This is a big change as compared to the past."
