Babis says his cabinet is success, accuses opposition of sabotage

June 3rd, 2021

Czech PM Andrej Babis described his cabinet as a success and dismissed a conflict of interest on his part in the lower house today, adding that the forthcoming opposition-provoked vote of confidence in his cabinet has been motivated by their effort to make him leave politics. In the debate preceding the vote, Babis said the government has successfully coped with the coronavirus epidemic, despite the opposition challenging and sabotaging its anti-epidemic measures in hope to secure Babis's defeat.
