Babis repeats Czech sustainability commitment

Prime Minister Andrej Babis repeated the Czech Republic's commitment to reduce its carbon footprint by planting ten million trees at the Wednesday political forum on sustainable development held under the UN auspices. In doing so, the Czech Republic will contribute to sustainability within the Agenda 2030 programme, Babis said. According to the SDG Index, evaluating all UN members according to the progress in achieving the development aims, the Czech Republic is in the seventh place.
