Czech PM Andrej Babis hopes that the Chamber of Deputies will support the request of the minority ANO and Social Democrats (CSSD) cabinet and prolong the existing state of emergency at least until Easter if it does not back the proposed 30-day extension, he told CTK today. The Communist Party that usually tolerates the government might back a 14-day extension lasting until April 11. However, it disagrees with restricted movement between districts, KSCM chairman Vojtech Filip told a morning press conference today. The opposition parties keep demanding a relaxation of the anti-epidemic measures repeatedly since last summer, Babis said.
