Prime Minister Andrej Babis (ANO) would welcome a rapid reaction of Europe to the question of a possible Turkish intervention against Kurds in Syria, Babis told journalists after a government meeting today. Babis warned that the intervention might become a threat of another refugee wave heading for Europe. He said he expected the United Nations Security Council to deal with the affair. Turkey says it wants to intervene militarily against the Kurdish YPG (People's Protection Units) militia as it considers it a terrorist organisation.
