Babis: EU-US trade relations should be improved

It is vital to improve trade relations between the United States and the European Union and there are also many chances in scientific cooperation, Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis said at the conference Multiple Challenges for Transatlantic Partnerships held online on Thursday. The Czech Republic is ready to cooperate with the US and Canada on the development and operation of new, environment-friendly technologies, Babis said at the conference organised by the Institute for Politics. Like European Commission Vice President Vera Jourova, he believes that along with the new Joe Biden administration, the US will return to the fulfilment of the Paris Agreement.
