The Czech Republic is firmly integrated in the European Union and its EU membership should not be part of a political discussion, but Czechia should not blindly adopt everything from Brussels, Prime Minister Andrej Babis said at the conference Multiple Challenges for Transatlantic Partnership on Thursday. However, this does not mean that Czechia should automatically accept all that the "Eurocrats" in Brussels or the "progressive political elites in big countries" work out, Babis said at the event held in the Congress Centre Prague. To be firmly integrated in the EU also means to be its very active member and have the courage to be critical if need be, he stressed.
