Babis: CzechRep to construct nuclear blocks even despite EU law

The Czech Republic must construct new blocks at the Temelin and Dukovany nuclear power plants, situated in south Bohemia and south Moravia, even if it means violating European law, Prime Minister Andrej Babis(ANO) told the lower house EU affairs committee today. "We overslept in regards to nuclear energy. We could have been building Temelin by now. We must push this through even if it means violating European law. Energy security is our priority," Babis said.
