Babis confirms to deliver govt resignation to Zeman in writing

PM Andrej Babis will deliver the resignation of his outgoing cabinet to President Milos Zeman in writing after the constituent session of the Chamber of Deputies, the lower house of the Czech parliament ends, Babis said after the government meeting today. The lower house is electing its leadership and if deputies reach an agreement, the constituent session might end today. Babis plans another meeting of the outgoing government for Friday when further anti-epidemic measures to curb COVID-19 should be discussed.
