Average wage in Slovakia drops by 1.2 percent in Q2

The Slovak average wage dropped by 1.2 percent in the second quarter of 2020, the first time since the fall of communism, the Slovak Statistical Office reported on Friday. Taking into account the rate of inflation, the drop reached 3 percent. Seasonally adjusted average salaries fell by 4.9 percent quarter-on-quarter.
