Average Czech sorts 71.8 kg of waste in 2021, more than last year

Czechs sorted an average 71.8 kg of waste in 2021, five kg more than a year ago and 77 percent of 1.33 million tonnes of disposable packages on the market in 2021 were recycled or re-used, show the data of the Eko-kom company that organises recycling and waste collection events in Czechia. In 2020, 76 percent of single-use packaging were re-used or recycled.
