Jan Novak, the author of the closely watched new literary biography of Czech-born writer Milan Kundera, 91, entitled Kundera: The Czech Life and Times, plans its continuation that will focus on the writer's life in France, Novak said at the autograph session on Monday. He added that Kundera's life after his departure from the Communist Czechoslovakia in the 1970s did not seem so interesting to him as the years spent in his homeland, but it would be attractive to the rest of the world. The 900-page book provoked a high interest of the Czech media and public as well as some critical responses.
