Around 2.32 million people visited the former Nazi German death camp of Auschwitz in southern Poland in 2019, up by 170,000 visitors on the the previous year, the press office of Auschwitz Museum said on Tuesday. Poles constituted the largest visitor group (396,000), followed by Britons (200,000), Americans (120,000), Italians (104,000), Germans (73,000), Spaniards (70,000).
