State attorney Daniela Smetanova has proposed to impose 9.5 years prison sentences, a maximum activity ban and a complete asset seizure on three managers of the Metropolitni sporitelni druzstvo (MSD) credit union for their 1.2 billion crown fund-siphoning scheme. Smetanova, from the Prague High State Attorney's Office, proposed that the stooges, whom the three main organisers of the crime used to siphon off money from the credit union through fake loans, are sentenced to four to eight years in prison each.
