Attacker of Polish ambassador to Israel placed under house arrest

The 65-year-old man detained in connection with Tuesday's assault on the Polish ambassador in Israel, Marek Magierowski, was placed under house arrest on Wednesday, the Israeli police said on Wednesday. Magierowski was spat at, by an unnamed man, while sitting in his car in Tel Aviv. Meanwhile, according to the Israeli news portal Walla News, cited by the Associated Press, the suspect was released on bail, and the judge described the attack on foreign diplomat as shameful.
