AstraZeneca cancels delivery of 62,000 doses to Poland

Pharma firm AstraZeneca cancelled the delivery of 62,000 doses of its coronavirus vaccine to Poland on the day the delivery was due, the Material Reserves Agency (ARM) has reported. ARM head Michal Kuczmierowski said: "AstraZeneca informed us at the last minute. The situation is absolutely scandalous. These types of practices ruin the vaccination schedule in the country." AstraZeneca cited "formal problems with a batch of vaccines".
