Art schools and leisure centres to be closed or switched to remote education

Primary art schools, leisure centres, language schools, school clubs and out-of-school activities will be closed or will switch to a remote form of education as of Monday, Education Minister Branislav Groehling announced on Friday as one of measures to help keep schools out of the epicentres of coronavirus infection. According to Groehling, the start of the winter school holidays might be brought forward, with classes ending before the Christmas holidays as early as on December 17.
