ANO wants MPs to debate compensations for Covid-hit businesses

The opposition ANO wants to debate compensation for businesspeople hit by pandemic restrictions in the lower house and will try to include it in its session agenda on Friday, former industry minister Karel Havlicek said after the second meeting of the shadow cabinet on Thursday. Former prime minister and ANO chairman Andrej Babis again criticised the stopgap budget at the press conference this morning. The new government of Together (Civic Democrats/ODS, Christian Democrats/KDU-CSL and TOP 09) and the Pirates/Mayors and Independents (STAN) has thereby blocked various projects and compensations, Babis said.
