Analyst: Average Slovak consumes 32 kg of sugar annually

The average Slovak consumed 32 kilograms of sugar in 2019, up by 1.6 percent year-on-year, Lenka Buchlakova, an economic analyst from FinGo.sk, has told TASR. Some countries in the region consume even more sugar per capita, however - with the Poles on 40 kg, the Germans on 35 kg and the Czechs and Austrians on 33 kg.
