Almost 1,700 healthcare workers infected with COVID-19 - unions

There are almost 1,700 healthcare workers currently infected with COVID-19 in the Czech Republic, including almost 400 doctors, 700 nurses and 600 other health workers, according to the data released on the Czech Medical Chamber (CLK) website. Since the epidemic outbreak in the Czech Republic on March 1, more than 3,600 healthcare workers have got infected in the country.
