Alena Zs. invokes right to remain silent again in Kuciak murder trial

January 22nd, 2020

Alena Zs., who is among the defendants in the Kuciak murder trial, on Wednesday once again invoked right to remain silent, despite the fact that on the first day of the trial (January 13) she had promised to provide her testimony later. One of the things Alena Zs. said on Wednesday is that she could not comment on the murder as she only knows about it from the media and the criminal file. Another thing she said was that the testimonies of Miroslav M. and Tomas Sz., who, according to the prosecution are the one who was shooting and the one who was driving, respectively, confirm that "Zoltan Andrusko is lying". She then reiterated that she would provide her testimony later and remained silent for the remainder of the hearing.
