Had a general election taken place in May 2021, it would have been won by ex-premier Peter Pellegrini's Voice-SD party on 22.5 percent of the votes, according to a poll carried out by AKO polling agency on a sample of 1,000 respondents between May 13 and 17. The co-governing Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) party would have ended second on 13.8 percent and the main governing-coalition party OLaNO would have come third on 9.9 percent. Smer-SD would have followed on 9.6 percent, Progressive Slovakia on 8.5 percent and We Are Family on 7.4 percent.
