AgriMin plans to reduce number of wild boar, meat to appear in shops

The Agriculture and Rural Development Ministry has prepared an extensive preventive action to protect Slovak farms and stop the risk of spreading African swine fever virus, Minister Samuel Vlcan said at a briefing on Thursday, adding that his ministry wants to reduce the numbers of the wild boar population by 100,000. Meat from healthy individuals is to appear on the shelves of Slovak shops.
