Ader: Most water resources on Earth need purification before consumption

Hardly any of the water easily accessible on Earth is suitable for consumption without purification because people use the resources irresponsibly, President Janos Ader told public Kossuth Radio on Wednesday. Some 2.5 percent of the water available on Earth is fresh water and only a fraction of it is easily accessible, he said. Those scarce resources are often contaminated by the people using it, he added.
