President Janos Ader has said that more than 90 percent of the electricity generated in Hungary will be carbon-free by 2030. In order to reach the 2050 climate-neutral target, electricity and energy production must be made to be carbon-free, Ader said at a ceremony in Budapest on Friday, inaugurating Hungarian energy company Alteo's new 1.1 billion forint energy storage facility, the first in the region.
